Turn the control knob on the heater to the “OFF” position.

Turn the cylinder gas valve to the fully open position.

Push in the gas control knob and turn counter-clockwise to the “LOW” position. Continue pressing down until the burner lights.

Once the burner is lit, continue to push the knob pressed in for at least 30 seconds to ensure good gas flow, then release the knob.
